Choice Apostolic Greetings. We just concluded the 2007 Pakistan General
Conference and Crusade conducted in Lahore, Pakistan March 20-25. We rejoice
that in the face of overwhelming opposition, the Lord filled 1,600 with the
baptism of the Holy Ghost. Thousands were healed in each service.
Superintendent Alan Shalm estimates the attendance to be approximately 17,000
over the four services.
What make this meeting a tremendous miracle within itself is the fact that
after postponing our crusade by a week, a government official decided to
cancel our contract we had with the local stadium (which seats 20,000 +) we
have used for the past three years only six days before our meeting was
scheduled. The Pakistan leadership led by Brother Farooq Jamali accomplished
the impossible task of preparing the local bible college grounds to
accommodate our meeting.
Brother Raymond Woodward from Fredericton, New Brunswick was the daytime
teacher and was mightily anointed in these day sessions. He brought his
assistant Jack Leaman who helped ministered in the Friday evening Holy Ghost
Service. David Bryan from Norton, Ohio preached the Holy Ghost message on
Friday "Holy Ghost night."
A team of 6 came with Crusade leader John Arcovio from St. Joseph Missouri.
Pastor David Billingsly, from Whitehall, Arkansas and Jerry Samouse from
Raleigh, North Carolina ministered Tuesday evening on "prayers that God
answers". The Lord responded with many healings and Miracles.
Pastor Mark Markham from Pompano Beach, Florida ministered on Wednesday
evening on Faith and again thousands were healed.
Pastor John Arcovio, St. Joseph, Missouri ministered on "Faith for Things Not
Seen" on Thursday evening and once again thousands were healed. In each
service many received the Holy Ghost leading up to the Friday Night emphasis
Holy Ghost night.
